HIGH SPOT Before Key West!
If you go to Key West, be sure to stop at Bahia Honda State Park, an enclosed park with paradise beach located in Big Pine Key, Florida Keys, 40 minutes from Key West.
The entrance fee is payable. The more people, the cheaper it gets ($ 9 / two people, $ 10/4 people).
A historic bridge off the bottom of the beach leaves the landscape even more picturesque.
Bahia Honda State Park Beach There are two beaches, one on each side of the park.
The sand strip, like most Keys beaches, is narrow and the water is usually transparent, except on days when the sea is heavily seaweed. If this happens, they place a notice on the entry before payment.
Inside the park There is a structure with shop, snack bar, showers and toilets.
There are some cement houses to hide from the sun, but if you're going to spend all day, it's worth investing in umbrella and chairs.
The park also offers activities like snorkelling and kayaking.
