Dan Lyons, a renowned 1988 Olympic rower, and his fellow Olympian staff will guide clients through an ultra-interactive rowing experience along the famous Boathouse Row. Dan and his crew will not only paint a vivid picture behind the history of rowing, but also demonstrate proper techniques to the group. Guests are invited to try their hand at the art of rowing, and with the help of an expert crew, will traverse the waters like the pros. After, guests will kick back and savor delectable hors d'oeuvres and sip refreshing brews as they toast their accomplishments. Guests will arrive at Boathouse Row and be welcomed into their private boat house. There, they will be greeted by Dan Lyons, Richard Kennelly, or one of other champion rowers who will give everyone an overview of the day and the sport in which they are about to partake. Guests will be split into teams and taught the proper rowing techniques before going out on the water. Every eight person shell will be equipped with an expert coxswain, coach and experienced rowers so everyone will feel comfortable on the water. Teams will be able to try out what they just learned on land in the boat with a final race to culminate the water activities. After everyone is back to the dock, a light reception will commence with scrumptious stationed appetizers and a beer and wine bar. Everyone will take home a medal to remember their day.
